The beautiful singer Rihanna lands January Cover of GQ Magazine UK!

Here are a few things she shared with the magazine:

“Sometimes when you’re on the inside of a relationship like that, you can’t see it clearly for what it is. “I left – it was the best feeling. It was so freeing.”

About Seeing her mom suffer domestic violence: “I witnessed it happening to my mum and I said I would never let that happen to me – and then it was happening. “Now, when I look back, it bugs me out that I couldn’t see it for what it was.”

Putting Chris Brown (aka 'dark period') behind her: “It made me strong. It’s a moment in my life I wish would disappear. “In my head, it’s gone.”

About Asking her fans not to pity her. “I have too much pride,” she admitted. “I’d never let anyone see me cry. I don’t want you to remember me for that.”

About thinking her sexy image may annoy people. “Girls don’t like to see other girls dressed sexy. I get that. People see my ass out and my boobs out, so it can get a little irritating.”

We love the cover! As usual, Rihanna looks awesome on a cover of a magazine!

29 November 2010 - R&B star RIHANNA will never let fans see her cry in public because she refuses to show her vulnerable side when she's dealing with business.

The Umbrella hitmaker has become known for her feisty and "aggressive" persona since bouncing back from her beating at the hands of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in February 2009.

And the Bajan beauty insists on keeping her emotions under wraps while she's in the spotlight because she doesn't want to be seen as weak.

She tells Interview magazine, "I do have a vulnerable side. I think a lot of people have a misperception of me. They only see the tough, defensive, aggressive side. But every woman is vulnerable... I just don't like people to see me cry - I don't like to let them know when I'm bothered. You know? I just prefer it to be all about business."

Rihanna says her brief romance with rapper Drake didn't quite work out because she was still depressed about being assaulted by former lover Chris Brown when she met him.

The Umbrella singer dated the Canadian hip-hop star in May last year for a short while but admits she was too fragile emotionally after being assaulted just a few months earlier. "I definitely was attracted to Drake, but we didn't want to take it any further. It was at a really fragile time in my life. So, I just didn't want to get too serious with anyone at that time," says Rihanna.

And while the romance fizzled out soon after, the two have recently teamed up for new single What's My Name?, which sees them appear in the song's racy video together.

After hitting #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 a fortnight ago with “What’s My Name,” world-class megastar Rihanna retakes the top spot for the second time in three weeks, as “Only Girl (In the World)” hits #1 on the Hot 100 and Top 40 Airplay charts. The double play boosts her brand new fourth Def Jam studio album, LOUD (released November 16th), executive produced by Rihanna and Mr. Reid, to over 200,000 first week sales, the biggest Soundscan week of Rihanna’s five-year recording career, and the #1 R&B album in the country.

Rihanna makes Billboard history as she is the first artist ever to have a lead single go #1 after her 2nd single (“What’s My Name?” ft. Drake) went #1 on the Hot 100. Two weeks ago, when “What’s My Name” (featuring Drake) took a colossal 59-point jump to #1, and “Only Girl (In the World)” rose to #4, Rihanna joined a rarefied strata of acts who have managed a similar feat. It was during Mr. Reid’s tenure as president of Arista Records, for example, when OutKast took the top two spots with “Hey Ya!” and “The Way You Move” in 2004, from their album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, also executive produced by Mr. Reid.

On October 30th, in advance of the chart bumps, Rihanna performed “What’s My Name” and “Only Girl (In the World)” on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. The hard-working young singer returned to the airwaves last week, with appearances on CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman (on the release date, November 16th) and ABC’s Good Morning America (November 17th). On November 21st, Rihanna opened this year’s 38th annual American Music Awards, broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Leading up to the album release, anticipation for LOUD was at fever pitch. Fans sent Tweet or Facebook posts via www.rihannanow.com/getloud for entry into the “get loud to hear LOUD” exclusive album stream event – and in the first 48 hours, the album received 400,000 listens. Additionally, the LOUDest Fan Sweepstakes, urging fans to upload their photos for entry and a chance to meet Rihanna, received over 1.3 million views in the first month online.

“What’s My Name” and “Only Girl (In the World)” are Rihanna’s 8th and 9th #1’s on the Hot 100, respectively, widening her dominance of the chart – earlier this year, she became the first female artist of the past decade to chart six #1’s on the Hot 100 when “Rude Boy” went to the top. “Only Girl (In the World)” also became Rihanna’s 8th single to hit #1 on the Hot Dance Airplay chart, eclipsing Madonna’s long-standing record of seven #1’s on the Dance chart (launched in 2003). “Only Girl” pushes Rihanna in the lead for most #1s (9) since 2000. She was previously tied with Usher at 8 number ones

More chart facts: the RIAA double-platinum “Rude Boy” (the fifth multi-platinum certified song of Rihanna’s career) hit #1 on a slew of charts – including Billboard’s Hot 100 and Hot 100 Airplay, and MediaBase’s Pop, Hot Dance Radio, Hot Dance Clubs, Rhythm, and Urban. Prior to “Rude Boy,” Rihanna charted her 5th #1 on the Hot 100 as featured artist on T.I.’s “Live Your Life.” 2009’s “Russian Roulette” again made chart history for Rihanna – as her 12th Billboard Hot 100 career hit, placing her second (after Beyoncé) among female Hot 100 artists in the decade since 2000. After “Rude Boy,” Rihanna was back on the charts as featured artist on Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” – which hit #1 on the Hot 100, and tied Rihanna for the most #1’s (six) on the Pop Songs Radio Airplay chart, with Mariah Carey, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.

LOUD follows-up Rated R (November 2009,) and its sequel Rated R: Remixed (May 2010). Previously, the double-platinum Good Girl Gone Bad (May 2007) contained the Grammy-winning global #1 hit “Umbrella” (featuring Jay-Z), then “Shut Up and Drive,” “Hate That I Love You” (featuring Ne-Yo), and “Don’t Stop the Music.” The CD+DVD package Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded (January 2009) continued the hits with the #1 “Take A Bow,” the #1 “Disturbia” and Top 20 “Rehab.” Good Girl Gone Bad was the third album release in less than two years by Barbados native Rihanna, who turned 22 on February 20th. It followed-up 2006’s RIAA platinum A Girl Like Me, which contained the back-to-back hits, “S.O.S.” and “Unfaithful”; and her RIAA gold debut from 2005, Music Of the Sun, featuring the world-wide smash, “Pon De Replay.”

ONE night with Rihanna really isn't enough for her Sydney fans with the statuesque pop princess announcing a second show at Acer Arena on March 5.

With her new record Loud debuting at No.3 on the Australian charts this week, it's no surprise her March 4 concert at the arena sold out.

Promoter Michael Coppel also announced British DJ Calvin Harris - who is in town this weekend for the Stereosonic festival - will warm up the crowd with LA club crew Far East Movement, who are riding high in the charts with their hit Like A G6.

Meanwhile, the Only Girl In The World singer endured a confusing interview with the master of mangling the English language, Kanye West, for Interview magazine.

West asked her "How does it feel to know that you could have any man in the world. Or woman. How does it feel to know that you can turn straight women gay?''

Twenty five year old Trinidadian recording artist, Nicki Minaj has admitted and acknowledged one of her desires that is yet to be fulfilled. As known by many, the hiphop recording artist and songwriter has already worked with other A-list stars like Eminem, Rihanna and Will.I.Am. This time around though, Minaj revealed that she would like to do a collaboration with pop star Beyoncé Knowles.

The 2010 BET awardee has told Us magazine that she is such a big fan of the Single Ladies singer and actress and that she aspires to work with her soon. She told the magazine, “Probably just Beyoncé right now. I’ve worked with just about all my dream collabs like I’ve worked with Jay-Z and I’ve worked with Kanye and I worked with Rihanna and and I’ve worked with Eminem”, when asked who she would like to work with.Nov 29th, 2010

Nicki Minaj did not also hesitate to add, “Those were at the top of my list. Now that I’ve done that, probably the only one on my list that I haven’t worked with that I’ m really, really excited about is Beyoncé.”

Rihanna made a noisy debut on the Canadian albums charts this week.

The R&B superstar's fifth studio effort, "Loud," came in at No. 1 based on sales of 27,000, according to numbers compiled by Neilsen SoundScan.

It easily surpassed the first week sales of last year's "Rated R" (17,000), and her mega-popular third disc "Good Girl Gone Bad," which also rang up 17,000 in June of 2007.

Rihanna bumped last week's top disc, Bon Jovi's "Greatest Hits," down to No. 2 with sales of 17,000.

The "Glee Christmas Album" (16,000) checked in at No. 3, while Josh Groban's "Illuminations" spent its first week at No. 4.

Susan Boyle's "The Gift" slipped from No. 3 to No. 5, Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" dropped four rungs to No. 6, and "MuchDance 2011" came down three to No. 7.

Three more debuts closed out the top 10, led by Keith Urban's "Get Closer" at No. 8, "America's Got Talent" runner-up Jackie Evancho's "O Holy Night" at No. 9, and Pink's "Greatest Hits So Far" at No. 10.

In the U.S., Susan Boyle came in first once again with 335,000 in sales, followed by Jackie Evancho in second, Rihanna in third, Josh Groban in fourth, and Kid Rock's "Born Free" in fifth.

Monday, November 29, 2010 - Pop star Rihanna says she will never let her fans see her cry because she does not wish to show her vulnerable side to the public.

She has become famous for her feisty and aggressive persona ever since she bounced back from her beating at the hands of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in February 2009.

"I do have a vulnerable side. I think a lot of people have a misperception of me. They only see the tough, defensive, aggressive side, but every woman is vulnerable," contactmusic. com quoted Rihanna as saying.

The singer keeps her emotions hidden while she's in the spotlight because she does not wish to be viewed as weak.

"I just don't like people to see me cry, I don't like to let them know when I'm bothered. I just prefer it to be all about business," she said.

Rihanna is again on the top of single chart with her new “Only Girl”. The song was released almost 10 weeks back. From it release up till this song has made its position on single charts. Though its position, sometimes, drops to eight and, sometimes, peaks up to the top of the single chart. Rihanna with her new song “Only Girl” is breaking records hitting the top position again and again in one calendar year.

Rihanna, in year 2010, hits the single chart on the top position three times. At first with “What’s my name?” then her song, “Loud” made its space on the single chart, now her sing “Only Girl” is on Hot 100 single chart for more than 10 weeks.

Rihanna’s new album “LOUD” has made the record of selling 207,000 copies and this success made Rihanna one of the famous and best singers for the year 2010.

While more and more female celebrities are thinking about a family and eventually to a child, when it comes to this things Rihanna don’t want to rush.

This is apparently because in reality, she recently said there is a possibility of having a child in the near future. “I do not want to do this at a certain age. It could be a year or ten. (…) I mean, I still have more work to do before making a baby.

I will know when is the right time, “said Rihanna who for almost a year, has a relationship with baseball player, Matt Kemp.

However, sources from the singer’s entourage said that Rihanna wants a family and if she get pregnant, she would like to have a son rather than a daughter, because “girls are generally rebellious and capricious”. “I would like to take my children in Barbados. Only they could make me to live away from everything I have now.

So there is no chance to raise my children and to take care of my career at the same time I have a very busy schedule, “said Rihanna. Some rumors said that Rihanna was pregnant one time but she keep this hidden from fans and press.

29 November 2010 - Pop superstar Rihanna – one of the many performers rumoured to be performing at next year’s Mardi Gras party – has added a second Sydney date to her 2011 Australian Tour.

The 22-year-old diva will now be spending two nights at Acer Arena – March 3 (sold out) and March 4.

She will be supported by DJ Calvin Harris and Far East Movement at both shows.

Pre-sale tickets are available at Ticketek from December 8.

Rihanna can’t wear white anymore. The ‘Only Girl In The World’ singer has recently dyed her hair a shocking bright red colour, but the style means she can’t wear light garments because it runs, ruining them.Rihanna explained: “Red suits my mood right now, it’s fun, playful and flirty. But I can’t wear white anymore, and my god, my pillows! I wake up thinking, ‘What The Hell? Who’s died in here?’ my pillows, my sheets, I open my eyes and see red.”

The ‘Rude Boy’ hitmaker is also constantly touring the world and relies on laundry services to keep her clothes clean, but says she still washes all her own underwear by hand, as it is ”too personal to send out”.

Barbados born Rihanna is also said to be considering becoming a UK resident, and moving from California to London.

She said: “I spend more time over there than I spend in Los Angeles, and that’s where I live. London is more like my home.”

Rihanna’s fifth album ‘Loud’ was released on November 10.

Rihanna's Red Long Straight Cut

Always one to make a sudden change, Rihanna showed off her long blazing red tresses while leaving a hotel in New York. Her long 'do is a sudden change from the shoulder length style she's been rockin' as of late.

We've spotted other celebrities with a similar look, including Stephanie Pratt, Megan Fox, and Sophie Monk. Check out all 264 pictures in the Long Straight Cut Lookbook.

Rihanna is set to release her newest CD Loud, which includes the smash hit "Only Girl in the World". The singers latest album showcases a more playful side to the singer with upbeat tempos and colorful visuals.

Rihanna goes to great lengths to turn heads in Times Square

Rihanna took over Times Square today with a traffic-stopping performance ahead of her Loud album release.

The flame-haired pop star performed her number one single What's My Name? for MTV's The Seven.

She was sporting a sleek new hairstyle after swapping her bob for a long weave in the same shade.

Arriving in rainy Paris from Italy, Rihanna and boyfriend Matt Kemp didn't even stop at their hotel before heading to the Champs-Élysées. Their destination? Louis Vuitton's flagship store, where the couple spent more than two hours shopping. When they left, Rihanna was appropriately clutching one of the store's umbrellas, while Kemp carried out a small shopping back. Next up: lunch nearby at La Stresa.

It seems that all the hard work is paying off for Rihanna.

As she continues her gruelling promotional tour for her new album Rated R, the songstress just achieved her eighth number one single on the U.S. Billboard Chart this week with What's My Name.

The 22-year-old Bajan beauty has been in the French capital, Paris for the past couple of days making public appearances including stopping by Skyrock Radio for an interview alongside her baseball playing boyfriend Matt Kemp.

Rihanna has popped back to London with her boyfriend Matt Kemp as part of her promotional tour for her new album 'Loud', which will be released later this month, but the star couldn't go without her Caribbean food for long.

The 'Only Girl (In The World)' singer opted for some home-style cooking rather than British fish and chips and seemed to order jerk chicken, chicken curry with rice and peas for lunch yesterday.
Rihanna had a packed day as soon as she arrived in the U.K. following a trip on the Eurostar from Paris as she when straight to record a TV appearance for The Graham Norton Show before heading to Nazomi restaurant in Knightsbridge.

The 22-year-old was later pictured out with boyfriend Matt Kemp and crew at Mahiki night club.

Check out our pictures of RiRi about town yesterday...

While Rihanna may not exactly be the sole female on Earth per her desires, it’s quite possible she is the only musical guest on TV this month, seeing as she’s appeared on virtually every program known to man all across the world. Clearly RiRi hasn’t been taking our advice to heart — she popped up on The Graham Norton Show to sing “Only Girl (In The World)” yet again, this time for a UK audience. How’d she do? Check it out after the jump.
Unfortunately, practice has yet to make perfect with this one — the Loud redhead looks radiant as ever, but her vocals leave a lot to be desired, leading to plenty of awkward discordant moments with the backtrack. No thanks to her lackluster energy during the number, this is one of the island beauty’s weakest live performances of the jam yet.

Rihanna revealed an embarrassing (yet hilarious) tale on the BBC’s The Graham Norton show involving one of her waxing sessions.

According to the story, Rihanna always requests an older, Russian lady to give her a wax. The singer said, “Every time I get a wax, I always specify that the lady is old and speaks Russian or no English.”

However, she was coerced by Ciara into visiting a new waxing salon. Not only did the star have to undergo the excruciating pain involved with getting a bikini wax, but it was made even worse when her “groomer” knew who she was! Her groomer was a 25-year-old American, and Rihanna says she was just dying for an autograph.

“I think she couldn’t wait until we were alone so she could ask for an autograph… And then, obviously, I’m laying there in pain, and she just decides to [say] ‘I know who you are… You’re Rihanna aren’t you?’” Rihanna said while mimicking the waxer.

Rihanna says the scenario was “one of the most awkward moments of her entire life”. Then, she points to the camera and says, laughing, “Ciara do not ever bring me back here!”

Rihanna is busy promoting her upcoming ‘Loud’ album. The part-time model and her trusty backtrack did a rendition of her hit song, ‘Only Girl (In The World)’, on ‘The Graham Norton Show’. Peep the performance above:

Ever notice that Rihanna’s backtrack is shamelessly turned to full volume whenever the somewhat difficult parts of the song approaches? Just an observation of her astounding lack of vocal talent. Carry on.

Pop stars like Lady Gaga and Rihanna are continuously experimenting with their looks in order to standout from the rest of the crowd.

Lady Gaga keeps changing her hair styles along with her outfits. Whether it's a stage performance or a public appearance, Lady Gaga's hair style matches her clothes. She wears colourful wigs with her innovative outfits. Recently she wore a white wig with her meat dress.

Rihanna is doing her bit to stay in spotlight. Rihanna changed her hair style and hair colour with every album. She entered the pop world with her usual dark hair. But over past few years she has been changing her hairstyle often. She coloured her hair blonde last year with the release of "Rated R" album. This year "Rude Boy" singer opted for red as she is about release her fifth album "Loud".

Speaking about her new hairdo Rihanna said: "With my hair I was ready for something new, something loud, something expressive and something fun. I'd had blonde hair and it was so boring for me. Black is still my favourite colour, but this time I wanted something edgier because I don't like the edgyclothes any more. I guess I had to take the edge to somewhere else - my hair!"

Rihanna debuted a brand new look today. Apparently, the 22-year-old has gone all Rapunzel with the red hair. It’s straighter. It’s longer. It’s louder! The star debuted her new look whilst doing some promotion at Sirius XM Satellite studios in New York City.

Her next couple of promo stops this week include Good Morning America, 106&Park, MTV’s Seven and a secret show in NYC. The fiery vixen released her new album ‘Loud’ internationally today. Due to the heavy requests, I will write an album review and post it tomorrow, so stay tuned. Photo source.

Rihanna's red hair, is the talk of the fashion world. She is looking stunning in her new look. When asked the reason for sudden decision of sporting red hair, Rihanna revealed that she has decided to tone down her choice of dress but wanted to do something interesting. Thus, Rihanna decided to go for red hair.

“With my hair I was ready for something new, something loud, something expressive and something fun. I’d had blonde hair
and it was so boring for me. Black is still my favorite color, but this time I wanted something edgier because I don’t like the edgy clothes any more. I guess I had to take the edge to somewhere else — my hair!” says Rihanna.

Rihanna these days is sporting more high end dresses and she has revealed that she loves Stella McCartney's designer clothes. >“With fashion the simplest thing like a star, or a flower, can inspire you. I’m into a lot of stuff to do with nature and colors now, just things that are really expressive. I wear a lot of Stella McCartney because what she does is great — she’s a top, top designer.”

Rihanna puts an island-inspired spin on Christmas with her new song, 'A Child is Born,' featured on 'Now That's What I Call Christmas! 4.'

The Barbados native joins the likes of Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and Maroon 5 on the fourth installment of the 'Now' holiday series, which includes modern covers of traditional songs as well as original Christmas compositions.

But this isn't Rihanna's first foray into holiday music -- the 22-year-old singer also contributed 'It Just Don't Feel Like Xmas (Without You)' to 'Now That's What I Call Christmas! 3' in 2006.

Although 'A Child is Born' has a counterintuitive sound, those who prefer the tropical sun to a fireplace will find this song to be the perfect soundtrack to their holiday vacation in the Caribbean -- or at least daydreams of it.

Let Rihanna take you away with 'A Child is Born,' which you can listen to on AOL Radio's Pop Holiday station now.

Rihanna and Nicki Minaj's musical collaboration was so nice that they decided to do it twice. Not only did the dynamic duo pair up for a track on Rihanna's Loud album, but also on a tune for Nicki's debut, Pink Friday, both of which are out later this month.

When Rihanna sat down with MTV News recently to talk about her album, she confessed that the ladies have been in musical cahoots with one another for quite some time now. "We did work together on music for [Loud] as well as [for my 2009 release] Rated R," Rih explained. "It was the end of the album, but she was sending me these incredible songs. Like I wanted some up-tempo stuff from her that was kind of gangsta, but she sent me these ballads and they were beautiful and I couldn't believe that it was a female MC writing these songs. She's really talented and I want to work with her again."

Rihanna did eventually get her up-tempo gangsta track from Nicki in the form of "Raining Men," which appears on Loud. The club-banging, girl-power anthem combines Rihanna's pop-superstar swagger with Nicki's hip-hop it-girl swagger. Minaj adopts an island accent for her verse in the tune. Meanwhile, the chorus pretty much sums up the bravado of the heavily hip-hop-influenced track, as Rihanna sings, "Falling like the rain/ So we ain't running out/ Always raining men/ So what you worried about."

Rihanna was more tight-lipped about her contribution to Pink Friday, but she did say, "We also worked together on her album. I can't say ... actually, the reason I can't tell you is because I don't know the official title of the song. It might be 'To Fly,' I'm not sure if that's the confirmed [title]." It was later revealed that the track the pair worked was simply titled "Fly."

Former cast Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter did not accept the statement of Megan Fox. Actress from the United States is angry with the Megan Fox statement.Carter was angry because Fox made a statement that made his ears hot. Fox says the figure of Wonder Woman is the the weak superhero . Carter directly respond to the artist’s statement who warded the sexiest women in the world.

“I like him, but I think she did not have to think ‘Wonder Woman’ like junk,” Carter said as quoted by Contactmusic, Saturday, November 13, 2010.

Fox issued a comment like that when he heard rumors he would replace Carter as Wonder Woman in the film adaptation of the successful series ever on television.

Artist who is married to Brian Austin Green was admitted to not interested in starring in superhero figure dressed in that section. “Someone who has a big challenge in the hands of those who take this role. But, I do not want to do it,” said Fox.

Since no longer star in ‘Transformers’, Fox is more selective in choosing who will be starring role. At present, this sexy actress is preparing to star in comedy movie with the title ‘Friends With kids’ with stars Adam Scott and John Hamm.

Who does Megan Fox thinks she is? In reality Megan Fox is a nobody. Compared to Lynda Carter Megan Fox is a novice.

Megan Fox recently dissed Lynda Carter's famous character Wonder Women by calling her lame.

Wonder Woman “is lame. She flies around in an invisible jet, but she’s not invisible. I don’t get it.”

Of course you don't get it Megan Fox because your just not smart enough. You're also not a good enough actress to play the part of Wonder Woman. You're really not a good enough actress to even be considered an actress.

Lynda Carter has appeared in seven movies throughout her career and 21 TV shows. She won the Miss World USA contest in in 1972 and released two albums.

What has Megan Fox done? She has appeared in Transformers and then decided that it wasn't good enough for her even though it has been the only movie in which she has appeared that has done anything at the box office.

Lynda Carter in her youth was as beautiful as Megan Fox but the difference is Carter had talent, Megan Fox does not. If Megan Fox wasn't considered one of the most beautiful women in the world she would be a complete nobody.

Maybe Megan Fox should keep her mouth shut until she has actually done something with her career.

Here is hoping that the Wonder Woman movie becomes a huge hit and Megan Fox ends up kicking herself for passing it up.
