When Seacrest asked who is Kemp to her, she hesitantly said, “He’s my boyfriend.” However, Rihanna was quick to say that while the relationship is real, it isn’t super serious, “It’s new and its fun and it’s nothing too serious,” Rihanna explained. “I don’t want anything that’s gonna take up so much of my energy and time right now in a bad way. I just wanna have fun and that’s what it’s about.”

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys gave New York a fresh new anthem with their chart-topping hit “Empire State Of Mind,” but Katy Perry, who hails from Los Angeles, California, felt a little bit left out.

“It’s so great that ‘Empire State of Mind’ is huge and that everyone has the New York song,” Perry told Rolling Stone magazine, “but what the f*ck? What about L.A.? What about California?”

To even the score, Perry teamed up with pop powerhouses Max Martin and Dr. Luke to pen “California Girl,” an ode to her sunny West Coast hometown, set to appear on her as-yet-untitled sophomore album due this summer.

“It’s been a minute since we had a California song and especially from a girl’s perspective,” she said of the tune. Sonically, she says, the song will bring back 90’s house music vibes. “We took the references of Prince, which is always a great reference, and some of the 90’s almost house music references,” she added.As for the album, Perry says it’s “definitely a summer time record,” and she thinks fans will find the music “fun and everybody’s favorite guilty pleasure.”

'While he was in Los Angeles, Brand told a couple of people that they were also considering Tokyo as a venue. It's a buzzy, vibrant city and somewhere completely different and unique. blogger Perez Hilton at his Hollywood birthday party when she showed up on an elephant.

The pop star joined Melanie Brown, Lindsay Lohan, Paula Abdul, Liza Minnelli, Justin Bieber and Leona Lewis among the celebrities at the Saturday night party, held to mark Hilton's 32nd birthday, reports contactmusic.com.

Lewis kicked off the fun at Paramount Studios by singing "Bleeding love" and "Outta my head", thanking the blogger for his support, while rapper Eve and Minnelli also performed. Taylor and his co-star Kristen Stewart also won the inaugural Cutest Movie Couple award for their budding romance in the film franchise. Taylor was thrilled to win both awards, telling the crowd they meant more to him than any other prize.

Kim, Khloe and their mom Kris Jenner have teamed up with Kotex to make a a series of videos called "Getting Real with U." The first installment shows the three of them reminiscing about the girls' first periods--which Kris says was "a sad day" for her because it meant they were growing up.

In a blog post entitled "Let's Talk PERIODS! WOOOHOOOO!" Khloe writes:

We all know that I'm not one that's afraid to speak my mind, nor do I get embarrassed very easily, so I have no problem screaming at the top of my lungs about periods and vaginas.
