The Facebook group asking for Betty White to host Saturday Night Live was a hit. It got the 88-year-old to host the show, and she gave fans exactly what they wanted. Now, singer Katy Perry is asking her fans for the same favor.
The 25-year-old, recording artist is a huge fan of Glee. Her hit song, "I Kissed A Girl," was actually used in the pilot episode, and she loves the show so much that she wishes she could be apart of the show and star in her own episode. Perry is asking fans to help her out with a Facebook campaign similar to Betty White's. "Please! I would love somebody to start that Facebook group and persuade them. I would absolutely love that," Perry said about the show.
Several high-profile stars are being linked to Glee for their second season, which premieres on FOX in September. The show has already confirmed that singer Charice will have a guest role lasting several episodes, and other names have been in the air for guest roles, including Leona Lewis, Victoria Beckham, Justin Timberlake, Susan Boyle, Matt Lucas and John Stamos.
