But ahead of her big X Factor performance at the weekend, the R&B songbird, 22, insisted on having a personal manicurist with her at all times as well.


London-born beauty expert Trish Lomax was whisked to the ITV studios in Wembley to perfect the Bajan babe’s hands and nails and to make sure her polish matched her hair.

A source said: “Rihanna was really sweet and very normal.


“Instead of selecting an outrageously priced polish, she chose a £4.10 colour from Debenhams brand Mavala.

“She wanted her nails to be rich plum.”
