Having grown up in Los Angeles, you would have thought Jessica Alba would have become accustomed to the warm weather.

But it seems the 29-year-old actress is struggling to cope with the 25C temperatures, as she was spotted purchasing a cool mist humidifier while out in Beverly Hills yesterday.

Jessica had appeared to dressed for the sunshine in a vest top and skinny jeans, although the Dr Martens boots she was wearing seemed unusual footwear for the balmy day. The Fantastic Four star, who was accompanied by a friend on her shopping trip, also ensured she stayed cool by drinking an icy beverage as she explored the local stores.

And despite the heat, Jessica managed to muster up a smile for photographers as she left the shop.

The actress was photographed looking unhappy earlier this week, following negative reviews of her new movie The Killer Inside Me.

The film, directed by Michael Winterbottom, has been criticised for its brutally realistic portrayal of domestic violence.
