Rihanna has revealed that she would like her next album to become a classic along the same lines as Michael Jackson's Thriller.

The 22-year-old singer recently went into the studio to start work on her fifth album, which will feature collaborations with such artists as Stargate, Ester Dean, Rock City, Ne-Yo and The-Dream.

"I'm trying to push her to where every song will be a hit from one to 12. I'm talking about NO album fillers. Our bar for this album is Michael Jackson's Thriller," Def Jam's Bu Thiam says in an interview with Vibe.

"She's great to work with and very hands on with every song that's being written and produced. She has visual concepts for just about every song. It's already giving me the feel of a timeless album, and right now is her time," he adds.

Rihanna's most recent release, 2009's Rated R, debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 with sales of 181,000 copies in its first week, making the album her highest-selling U.S. debut to date.
