Hollywood star Jessica Alba didn't let plumbing problems get in the way of her 29th birthday celebration at the Vinegar Hill House in Brooklyn.

The star, her husband, Cash Warren, and pals had to move to the outdoor garden after the restaurant's main drain clogged, according to Business Insider. Alba and friends kept partying and taking pictures despite the chilly weather.

Alba caught plenty of flashbulbs in her tricolored dress topped with a leather jacket.

After dinner, she kept the party going at Simyone Lounge in the Meatpacking District. Vinegar Hill House is a 40-seat eatery described by New York magazine as "Little House on the Prairie" mixed with Freemans restaurant - the lower East Side spot where the Vinegar Hill House owners reportedly met.

The Brooklyn restaurant is becoming known for its wood-fired stove and cozy fare in quiet neighborhood north of DUMBO.

This week Alba attended the premiere of her controversial new film "The Killer Inside Me" based on the gritty Jim Thompson novel.

The film raised eyebrows at the Sundance Film Festival last January because of its brutal violence.
