Rihanna has promised her UK fans she will be fine to perform despite her rib injury.

The ‘Russian Roulette’ singer damaged her side during a recent show in Zurich, Switzerland, but she is feeling good and her ribs are on the mend.

She told the London Evening Standard newspaper: “I’ve had a few injuries, and one thing made another worse.

“Eventually, I had to have it checked out. My ribs are still hurting, but I will be raring to go by London.”

Rihanna was originally treated for the ailment at the Hirslanden private clinic.

She is currently in Paris, France, on her ‘Last Girl on Earth’ tour and is then heading to Germany for a second bout of concerts in the country. She then travels to Luxemburg before flying over to the UK and Ireland for a number of dates.

	Rihanna’s tour is her most ambitious yet and features a number of costume changes and rigorous dance routines. She said: “We’ve never done a tour to this capacity. The production is unbelievable and so are the costumes, we just took it to a whole new level. We just keep growing”.
		Meanwhile, Rihanna says she uses the web to keep in touch with her boyfriend. The singer and her baseball player lover Matt Kemp chat online when she is away on tour to keep the spark alive in their romance.

Speaking about Paris, she told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I’m really happy right now. It’s an amazing city. I love it. It would have been so cool if he was here. I was hoping he would be able to come to London but he’s working".
