Even high profile celebrities fall and get booboos now and again, just ask Katy Perry who needed to go to hospital for 17 stitches after she partied it up at the MuchMusic Video Awards.

She was apparently dancing it up at a Toronto nightclub and took a spill, and soon after the incident took to her Twitter page to let her fans know what happend.

“17 stitches later… Don’t make fun of my dance moves tomorrow. That’s what got me here in the 1st place! Thanks for the souvenir Canada,” she wrote on Twitter.Perry did not let her battle scar stop her from performing, as she took to the stage in a white latex dress with a cookie pattern on it, Chanel red and white candy striped peep-toe boots and a surgical stocking.
