The film stars Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe, and focuses on the troubled screen icon's relationship with Colin Clark, an Oxford graduate she met on the set of her 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl.

Along with the Oscar-nominated Williams, Watson’s other heavy-weight co-stars include Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench, Julia Ormond, Derek Jacobi and Dominic Cooper.
